Monthly meetings: 7:00 PM at South St. Paul High School Lecture Hall, 700 Second St. N., South St. Paul MN 55075
Speaker: For the February 19, 2020 Garden Club Meeting our speaker will be Bob Dahm, aka, Organic Bob LLC. He will be presenting information on transitioning our lawns and yards into a pollinator friendly environment using organic methods. He will be a resource for information, grants, products, service providers and the confidence to do it ourselves.
Additional Information Bob Dahn, founder of Organic Bob, LLC, which provides premier organic lawn care and landscape services for the Twin Cities metro area. His business evolved from a side business when he worked as a grounds manager for a children’s psychiatric hospital. While there he began to use organic products and methods to care for the lawn. After 3 years and a lot of work, the playground looked better than the rest of the grounds being treating with conventional chemicals. Staff then started hiring him to do their lawns and his side business grew. In 2002, he quit his job and went into organic lawn care full time. His Organic lawn care utilizes microbes, compost and saying no to pesticides to help create thick vigorous turf that is safe for family, pets, wildlife, lakes and streams.
