After 3 years and a lot of work, the playground looked better than the rest of the grounds being treating with conventional chemicals. Staff then started hiring him to do their lawns and his side business grew. In 2002, he quit his job and went into organic lawn care full time. He will speak on how microbes, compost and saying no to pesticides can help create a thick vigorous turf that is safe for family, pets, wildlife, lakes and streams.
